A real gem, the Willie Park-designed course is a true classic parkland-style. Designed by the famous Scottish architect, Willie Park, Jr. in 1919, the course remains relatively undisturbed over the last century. Over the past decade, with the help of consulting architect, Bruce Hepner, the club has undergone a restoration process to re-establish the original dimensions and re-create the shot values intended by Park's original design. Extensive tree work has also been done to re-create the original parkland feel. The Battle Creek Country Club remains one of the best preserved examples of Willie Park's contribution to golf course architecture. Doug Kreis, Class A PGA Professional, is only the fifth club professional in our long club history and offers a full-service golf shop with custom-fitting services. Now the course features 6,744 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 72.5 and it has a slope rating of 133 on Bent grass. Steven Rebhen manages the course as the General Manager.
