The 9-hole "Beaver Island" course at the Beaver Island Golf Course facility in Beaver Island, Michigan features all the hallmarks of Michigan golf for a par of 35 . Designed by Matt Malldile, the Beaver Island golf course opened in 1963. While the course has seen numerous owners and changes during its nearly 50 years of operation, the competent leadership of John Works, Jr. appears to have the course running smoothly and improving steadily.
