Gaylord Country Club is one of the few private clubs in northern Michigan allowing public play anytime. Founded in 1924, Gaylord Country Club is one of northern Michigan’s oldest golf clubs that feature 6,477 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 71.4 and it has a slope rating of 123 on Blue grass.
This course meanders through the hills and hardwoods and features strategic bunkering and arguably the best green complexes found in northern Michigan. Designed by Wilfrid A. Reid, the Gaylord Golf Course opened in 1970. J.T. Aude, PGA manages the course as the Golf Professional/General Manager.
