The course architect, Charles Maddox, Sr., treats the golfer with many elevation changes, generous tree-lined fairways, multiple tee options, and large undulated greens. The course features 6,911 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 73.9 and it has a slope rating of 135 and the Lake Michigan Hills golf course opened in 1969. Renaissance Golf Management manages this facility.
