Muskegon Country Club was founded in 1908 on 130 acres of virgin dune. It still sits on the original acreage and continues to thrive as an integral part of the community. Muskegon Country Club's beauty certainly comes from it's rolling terrain and fescue lined fairways. At 6,697 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short which makes it very playable for the average player but the approach shots and difficult greens will challenge even the best players in the country. There are no secrets out there, the Course and it's challenges are right in front you. Our golf course was designed by Donald Ross, the world renowned golf course architect, and has had the honor of hosting numerous Regional Qualifying Rounds for U.S. Open. The 18-hole course features 6,431 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.6 and it has a slope rating of 133 on Blue grass.
