The Muskegon Heritage Museum is a museum that specializes in telling the history of Muskegon's Industries, Businesses and Historic Homes. We have a working Corliss Valve Steam Engine that powers our machine shop with a line shaft. There are nine working machine tools in our Heritage Machine Works, a "Made in Muskegon" exhibit which contains unique and unusual items manufactured in Muskegon, including fishing items made by small manufacturers and a working Pinsetter manufactured by Brunswick. We have restored five engines manufactured by Continental Motors Corp. including a US tank engine. We also have a working letterpress print shop. Many other companies are represented in the museum.
