The center-piece of this shrine is a cross carved from a single redwood tree. It is 55 feet high, 22 feet wide and weighs seven tons! The bronze figure of Jesus that is attached to the redwood cross is the work of famous sculptor, Marshall Fredericks. Other shrines are situated on the grounds. The Shrine is also privileged to be the home for the largest collection of dolls dressed in traditional habits of men's and women's religious communities in the United States.
