Founded in 1916, Oakland Hills Country Club has two courses and will continue to play a significant role in the history of golf in the United States. Walter Hagen, five time PGA Champion, was the club's first head professional. The South Course was opened in 2007and has played host to 16 Major Championships and the 18-hole course features 7,142 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72.
The 18-hole "North" course at the Oakland Hills Country Club features 6,700 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 . Designed by Donald J. Ross, ASGCA, the North golf course opened in 2014. Chris Berlin, CCM manages the course as the General Manager.
