Rouge Park Golf course and driving range was opened in 1923 as part of the city of Detroit Park System. Hole Number 11 is considered by many as one of the most difficult holes in Metro Detroit. The course is a gem in the city of Detroit enjoyed by thousands of golfers. The 18-hole “Rouge Park” course at the Rouge Park Golf Course facility in Detroit, Michigan features 6,325 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Rouge Park golf course was built on sloping, hilly terrain and it is well known in the area for its wide fairways. The river flowing through the course forms water hazards that come into play on 9 holes. There are also sand bunkers situated throughout the golf course.
