A military air museum and air park that portrays the history of Selfridge Field and the many different military units that were stationed there during its almost 100-year history. Outdoor exhibits include 32 vintage military aircraft and helicopters, a mobile control tower, a fire fighting crash truck, military vehicles, and two Nike air defense missiles. Indoor exhibits include military memorabilia and artifacts, photographs, paintings, cut-away aircraft engines, model aircraft, uniforms, weapons, an interactive Air Traffic Control radar display, a WW II era R-2800 aircraft engine, a WWII era instrument trainer, a Vietnam-era A-7 cockpit, a modern-era F-16 cockpit, a gift shop, and more! The Museum and Air Park are ADA accessible and cameras are welcome.
