We thank all those who used our web site, and especially those who advertised with us. It was a pleasure to help promote over 3000 Michigan Events & Attractions, we enjoyed providing this information.

With reasonable prices and its friendly staff, the Strand Theatre provides a movie going experience that will take you back in time. The Strand Theatre started showing movies in the late 1920's. It was advertised as the "Wonder Theatre of the Thumb". In 1939, the neon marquee was added, it is still in use today with it's beautiful neon lighting. In the mid 1990's thru present, we've updated the sound to Dolby Digital EX surround sound, new seats with cup holders, and larger screen, but yet the auditorium, and lobby still takes you back to the 1930's and 40's.
