Sugar Springs is located about halfway between Gladwin and West Branch, Michigan. A community of some 1400 homes set among two all-sport lakes and a championship, 18-hole golf course, Sugar Springs Golf Course. The course features 6,737 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 72.6 and it has a slope rating of 124 on Blue grass. Designed by Jerry Matthews, ASGCA, the Sugar Springs golf course opened in 1978. Bob Neeb manages the course as the General Manager.
