The Loon Golf Course

The Loon reaches all levels of golfers with a combination of multiple tee areas and well designed bunkers. Since it’s opening in 1994 this golf course has been what "Friendly Championship Golf " is all about. The 18-hole The Loon course at the The Loon Golf Resort facility in Gaylord, Michigan features 6,701 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 .

The course rating is 72.7 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bent grass. The Loon has generous landing areas, gently rolling fairways, large greens, and some of the most scenic views Northern Michigan has to offer. Matthew Preuss manages the course as the General Manager.
