Celebrate the artists who have shared their art this past season at Stage One at the inaugural Stage One Red Carpet Awards Gala! This year we’re Taking Off, and We’ll be giving out three cash awards, four runners up, and two honorable mentions. The awards will be interspersed with entertainment from local band, The Swift Brothers, and performances by local musical theater actors. DJ Bigman Genesis will be spinning the tracks and our local guest celebrity MC will be Maskaki Takahashi, last year’s Lansing Poet Laureate and the founder of The Poetry Room. Drinks and apps will be served. All of this comes with your $25 ticket. And don’t forget to dress in evening formal wear to walk the red carpet!
