Revolution Bike in Charlevoix is pleased introduce the 12th Annual Dogman Challenge Fat Bike Race! The Dogman Challenge is a 2 hour winter endurance event held entirely on the multi-use trails around Mt. McSauba Recreation Area and North Point Nature Preserve in Charlevoix, MI.
The course consists of a fast and challenging 2 mile loop along the lake shore and through rolling and wooded terrain. The riders to complete the most laps in 2 hours are the champions and will receive customized one of a kind Dogman metals. Metals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the Men and Women's Open and Master 45+ divisions and Junior Division (17 and under - 45 minute race).
The race will be capped at 100 riders, and there will be no day of registration. Be sure to register soon to secure your entry. Packet pick up is from 10 to 11:30am at the ski lodge at Mt McSauba on race day. Feel free to come early and ride the course.
Not a competitor? Not a problem. The course is spectator friendly. There will be fire pits, s’mores, and excitement galore, so we hope that you are able to come out and watch these amazing athletes compete. Spectators can even get in out of the cold and watch the action unfold from the upper level of the ski lodge. It's a great day to bring the family to Mt. McSauba to watch an extreme sporting event and/or partake in some fantastic skiing, sledding, skating, or snowboarding.
