Greektown comes alive for the holiday season with 14 ice carvings throughout the neighborhood along Monroe Street! Please join us on Saturday, December 23 from 2 to 8 p.m. to join in the festive holiday merriment!
Come to Greektown and enjoy 14 holiday and Greek-themed ice carvings throughout the neighborhood along Monroe Street, with four of the ice carvings created live for all to see. Festive merriment will include ice carvings, Christmas caroling, hot chocolate, holiday cookies, and festive drink and food specials in our many restaurants and bars. Live ice carvings from 2 to 6 p.m. Live children’s Christmas caroling from 5 to 6 p.m. along Monroe Street and in businesses from our Detroit Metro Greek schools. Old St. Mary's Christmas Carolers from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Kales Yortes!
Attendees can make a holiday winter season day of it in Downtown Detroit with activities, ice skating, and light displays just two blocks from Greektown in Campus Martius Park, Markets at Cadillac Square, Cadillac Lodge, and Monroe Street Midway. There are even holiday carriage rides through downtown.
