The International Festival of Holland draws thousands of families and visitors from across West Michigan, eager for free, family-friendly opportunities that foster cultural understanding and connect them to the wider world. This year’s festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at the Holland Civic Center and we are excited to welcome world-class international artists Changüí Majadero (Cuban) back to the Festival Main Stage. Other Main Stage artists include Raion Taiko Japanese Drumming Ensemble, and Motherland House Concerts (Pan African).
The festival also includes a Children’s Fiesta with hands-on global art activities from CultureWorks and the ever-popular Festival Passport Station. In addition, kids will be able to participate in a Chinese Dragon Dance and Japanese drumming exercises. Vendors at the Festival Mercado offer an opportunity for West Michigan families to eat and shop their way around the world and learn about the important global work dozens of local organizations do abroad and at home.
