New Year’s Fest is an all-ages showcase of performing arts that takes place on New Year's Eve in Downtown Kalamazoo. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and runs until 12 a.m. to ring in the New Year. The event features live music, performers, and an array of different types of performing entertainment.
Performances are scheduled for 4-30 minute or 3-45 minute performances that rotate throughout the night. This allows attendees to schedule their attendance based on when they can/want to attend within their time frame. The schedule (available in September) will allow you to determine how you want to view the performances from either your home or live in downtown Kalamazoo.
Our 2023 New Year's Fest will feature 5 indoor performance locations, 2 heated tents, and live music from Bronson Park Stage. Performances include bands, performers (magic, storytelling, unique acts, and jugglers, theatre, and interactive performances that get the audience moving. There are also outdoor street performers.
