Kalkaska Fireworks take place on Saturday April 27, 2024 at dusk. The locaiton is the Kalkaska County Fairgrounds. The fireworks are in conjunction with the Kalkaska Trout Festival, held every year at the end of April. This year’s Trout Festival runs from April April 24-27, 2024. Typical events include fishing contests for both kids and grownups, lots of music, several parades, games and contests, and tons of other activities for the whole family. The National Trout Festival consists of events, activities, and parades that take place mainly at the Kalkaska County Fairgrounds and downtown at Railroad Square in the 300 block of Cedar St. We welcome several community groups as partners that offer a variety of events during the five-day festival.
