The 64th Annual Howell Melon Festival will once again be held in Downtown Howell, join over 60,000 festival visitors and celebrate the Howell Melon with food and drinks, a live concert, entertainment, and vendors like you spread across 5 blocks on Grand River Avenue!
If you're coming from Lansing, take I-96 East towards Detroit. Take exit 137 for D-19/Michigan Avenue toward Pinckney/Howell and turn left onto S. Michigan Avenue/Pinckney Road. Follow Michigan Avenue and you'll end up right at the festival!
If you're coming from Detroit, take I-96 West towards Lansing. Take exit 137 toward Pinckney/Howell and turn left onto S. Michigan Avenue/Pinckney Road. Follow Michigan Avenue all the way down and you'll end up right at the festival!
Parking can be limited in the area surrounding the festival. Note that portions of Grand River and Michigan Avenue will be closed for the festival and detour routes will be posted. Parking on residential streets is permitted where noted. There are also a number of public parking lots surrounding the festival.
The Howell Melon Festival is brought to you by the Howell Melon Festival Committee, an organization comprised of members from, Howell Recreation, Howell DDA, The City of Howell, The Howell Area Chamber of Commerce, & the Howell Historical Society.
